About Us
Family Promise of Great Falls is a (501)(c)(3)-certified non-profit organization in Great Falls, Montana. Our mission is to end childhood homelessness, one family at a time.
On January 11, 2015, Family Promise of Great Falls officially opened its doors to provide prevention and diversion services, support, and hospitality to families in the Great Falls area experiencing homelessness. We are just one of 200+ Family Promise Affiliates around the United States of America, working to change the lives of one million children by 2030!

Prevention and Diversion
With more than 40% of Americans a $400 expense away from financial distress, the threat of crisis looms closely for too many families. Preventing families from spiraling into homelessness is an essential part of the Family Promise mission.
Hospitality
Family Promise is more than shelter—we are hospitality in action. Our volunteers are companions to families, sharing meals, community connections, and compassion so families can focus on achieving their goals.
Empathy
Family Promise provides highly individualized, person-centered, trauma-informed care. Empathy is at the center of all we do, and we take the time to understand all perspectives. This ensures we deliver excellent service to our guests and maintain a productive and enjoyable work environment.

Family Promise builds bridges among neighbors, bringing together existing resources to fulfill our mission. The relationships between family members, volunteers, and our team is transformative and fosters communities committed to solving the crisis of family homelessness.

Family Promise of Great Falls is part of the 30-year-old Family Promise affiliates (formerly, National Interfaith Hospitality Network), and is a registered corporation with the state of Montana.
Family Promise of Great Falls was granted section 501 (c) (3) status of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to Family Promise of Great Falls are deductible under section 170 of the code.
