Empathy We provide highly individualized, person-centered, trauma-informed care and case management. Community We build bridges among neighbors, bringing together existing resources to fulfill our mission. Dynamic we are a dynamic organization, taking a holistic approach to ending family homelessness. Our services, advocacy, and leadership are focused on providing customized and evolving solutions to homelessness. Empowerment We empower all stakeholders, the family members, volunteers, donors, community members, businesses, and government officials to mobilize change in our community so that families can achieve economic stability and children can access a healthier future. Prevention and Diversion We help by working with families in their own homes to avoid eviction or foreclosure in order to prevent families from becoming homeless in the first place. We work on a sustainable housing plan so that families avoid facing near homelessness again. The reason for the need is not as important as the commitment the family makes to working on an individualized plan for achieving stability. We also offer shelter diversion by supporting families experiencing homelessness and seeking either to restore housing at their current location or toidentify a safe place to avoid entering a shelter such as living with a family member or friend while working on a stabile housing plan. Stabilization We provide continued support and wrap-around services to address the root cause of their homelessness and to develop a long-term stability plan. |
